Heads Up
 We're sorry to announce (as already known by the vast majority of our user base) that the TibiaTek Bot 2.5 release has been taken back because of major bugs found minutes after the aforementioned release. This happened on May 19th and we haven't been able to launch a newer and fixed version ever since.
Several of the bugs were fixed but the Player Information feature (as announced in the previous news message) isn't going to be available on the upcoming version of TibiaTek Bot, which will be version 2.5.1.
Many of our users have had problems using TibiaTek Bot 2.3.1 because as of the latest update of Tibia 8.11, TibiaTek Bot has problems when selecting the Tibia client when using it for the first time. We have a couple of ways of fixing this issue, which can be found in the forum by clicking here.
Tomorrow (July 2nd) Cipsoft GmbH will launch Tibia 8.2 and TibiaTek Bot will be updated with the new addresses as soon as possible so that TibiaTek Bot 2.5.1 is released.

 The TibiaTek Development Team is proud to announce the release of the newest TibiaTek Bot, versioned 2.5. This new version REQUIRES .NET Framework 3.5.
You will find out some cool features in this release, which I hope you all enjoy and make the best out of them. Sadly, two features will not appear in this release, and those are: Auto Login and the TibiaTek Keyboard. They are now scheduled for the next release.
The Head's On Display feature, when enabled, should display the remaining time for Haste, Invisible and Magic Shield. The Player Information adds more information below the character's nicknames, like HP, Guild Name and Rank, etc. The TibiaTek GPS will allow you to see your character and your friends in a huge map, very useful in wars, and as a special note, with this feature, we've introduced the War section in our bot. The auto responder will do just that, talk for you when you are AFK and you are being spoken to. The lag bar will display how much lag you have, and note, the 125ms is the minimum, it will let you know if it's safe to play.

You WILL need the .NET Framework 3.5 to use TibiaTek Bot, you can download the installer from http://tibiatekbot.googlecode.com/.
If you want the source code you can get it from the Subversion Server at: http://tibiatekbot.googlecode.com/svn/. You can use a program called TortoiseSVN, which you can get from http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/.
You must have Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 to compile it, you can get these two programs for free from www.microsoft.com.
Stop with the OMG H4X BS, if you are paranoid just download the damn sources, check em' out and you'll see there's NO WAY to hack anybody.

2008-05-19 00:00:00 TibiaTek Bot v2.3.1 Released!
In this new version, you will not find any noticeable features, but most importantly, you will find out that the installer is now fixed. We are not using the crappy installer that we used for version 2.3.
You may notice a slight change when TibiaTek Bot is loading, as it has been made faster. That's because the bot doesn't have to read the Tibia.dat file anymore.
The &loot command has been updated, you can now add items by their ID.
